    Detroit Deli & Catering is Beverly Hills’ newest home-style deli Located in the city of Beverly Hills, Michigan - between 13 & 14 mile on Southfield Rd, with an extreme sandwich board and a list of entrées that recall your late, great grandmother’s cooking.

       With an old, downtown Detroit theme, the warm décor of this new joint matches the welcoming faces of its two young proprietors, Jordan Dalaly and Constantine Carstea. Jordan has been in the catering business for 4 years prior to opening up the deli and Constantin has always been an entrepreneur. After conducting restaurant research from delicatessen's all the way from LA, California to New York, and covered many areas in Michigan from Southfield to Ann Arbor (and many, many taste-tests), the boys have achieved the type of delicatessen this city was lacking: one that equally warms the mouth and heart. The Deli has a warm, welcoming feeling with a theme from old Downtown Detroit. Anything to bring back that Detroit feeling. With actual street lights that date Back to the early 1900's.

    All of Detroit Deli’s food is prepared in-house, from their sandwich meats to their soups and salad dressings, with the added touch of a recipe book originating with Mr. Dalaly’s great aunt – a woman who owned two delicatessens of her own in the 1950’s and 60’s. Try Bubby’s Chicken Noodle Soup for a taste of the good old days, when a simple deli was as much a hub of neighborhood activity as it was a treat for the taste buds. With a range of mouth-watering sandwiches like the charmingly dubbed ‘Toon-A-Fish’ and house favorite, ‘The Detroiter’ (grilled onion roll with layers of corned beef, Swiss cheese, homemade coleslaw and Russian dressing), you can’t go wrong.

Don’t worry: the men in charge are anything but stingy, and their portions are enough to satisfy both their vegetarian and carnivorous patrons. We take great pride in our food preparation, taste and presentation. We received a 5 star from the Detroit Free Press.
